Welcome to Year 4

There is lots of exciting learning in store for Year 4 children; from the Romans to splashing about as we learn about rivers.  We will continue our daily English and Maths lessons. 

If you have any concerns or would like to discuss your child with their class teacher do ring and book an appointment to see us.  We are keen to work in partnership with parents so the children in our care get the best out of their school experience and continue to flourish.

Routines and Reminders

Homework is handed out every Thursday, due the following Monday. In year four we alternate between English and Maths each week, these will always be based on the work we are currently completing in class. 

Please hand in your reading record every Monday.  

Take responsibility for changing your reading book, each class has their own slot for the library. However, those who finish quickly are always welcome to change their book in the morning before registration and during lunchtime.

PE takes place every Monday and Wednesday afternoon, please make sure you are wearing your PE kit these days.
