    We have enjoyed the return of Fantastic Fridays to the Northmead curriculum. Last Friday there were over 20 different activities taking place in school. As I walked around it was great to see children enthusiastic and focused, trying out new activities while working alongside children from other classes and year groups. Activities included - building the greatest marble run in the school hall, Zumba dancing, decorating biscuits, Andrew Goldsworthy inspired autumn art work, still life sketching, jewellery making, drama, weaving turtles, pond dipping and many more. I am sure your children will have already told you about their activities.

    If you would like to enter our harvest creature competition, photos of your entries should be sent to Socialmedia@northmead.surrey.sch.uk by 19th October 2022.

    We suggest these should be made of natural materials or food you can re-use and eat!

  • Fantastic Friday - Mufti Day

    On Friday we will be holding our first Fantastic Friday of the year.  This day embraces our motto of "Try more, Learn more, Achieve more" by providing children with activities beyond their normal classroom curriculum.

  • Travelling Book Fair

    From the 11th – 17th of October we will be hosting a Scholastic Travelling Book Fair. The commission from sales at the fair allows us to purchase new books for the library and class reading lessons, so every book you buy helps us.

  • Newsletter Issue 2

    House and Sports Captains.  We are pleased to provide children with an important opportunity to take on positions of responsibility in school. House captains and Sports captains have been chosen from year 6. They will be excellent role models for other children and act as ambassadors for our school. One of the first jobs for the House Captains will be to accompany prospective parents on tours of the school in October.
