    Year 6 were overwhelmingly excited about becoming junior librarians and helping out in the library. The badges have been ordered and will be awarded by Mrs Brown as soon as they arrive! The children are working in the library on a rota basis, which means the library is open every day before school from 8.30 and at lunchtime, for all children to change their books.

  • Travelling Book Fair

    From the 12th – 19th of October we will be hosting a Scholastic Travelling Book Fair. The commission from sales at the fair allows us to purchase new books for the library and class reading lessons, so every book you buy helps us. There are lots of exciting new titles on sale as outlined in the brochure attached to this parent mail.

  • Newsletter - Issue 3

    Year 6 Roles and Responsibilities  - We have been very impressed by the enthusiasm of the children in year 6 for taking on additional responsibilities and looking after the welfare of other children in school. This week saw the announcement of the Playground Buddies/ Well being Ambassadors. They will be working in daily teams of four to support and guide younger children on the playground during morning play and lunch times. It is so good to have such a large group of volunteers.
