Science Day

Celebrating National Asteroid Day, we held a science day across the whole school to investigate the damage that could be caused by asteroids hitting the Earth.

Celebrating National Asteroid Day, we held a science day across the whole school to investigate the damage that could be caused by asteroids hitting the Earth.  The day was designed to work on our Working Scientifically skills and it certainly did that.  Right from the start of the day, we were impressed by the questions the children came up with and the factors they considered in order to carry out a fair test.  The findings of the day were then presented as news reports, posters and as scientific reports.  It was a very successful day and we look forward to more in the future. For more photos of the days activities please take a look at our Gallery here.
