It has been lovely this week to see so many of our children and their parents return to school for the opportunity to say hello to their classmates and say goodbye to their teacher from this academic year. It was good to catch up with you all and share news.

As always, we wish all the best for the children and families who are leaving Northmead this year.

We managed to hold an actual leavers assembly with the year 6 children in their bubbles ,watching the excellent virtual video made for us by Tom Lewis. I explained to the children they have been a wonderful group of year 6 children and none of us will ever forget this shared experience. They also have a lovely memory to keep of their time at Northmead.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for everything they have contributed to our school over their four years here.

We have completed our plans ready for returning in September. They are posted on our web site in case anyone needs any reminders after the holiday. We will check everything once more during the last week of August and will adjust our provision if necessary in the light of any new guidance.
