Staying healthy this Winter Season

Too often children, staff and visitors share more than just good cheer during the winter season — coughs, colds and stomach bugs spread easily at this time of the year.

At school we strive to encourage children to wash their hands regularly and to try and keep cough and colds at bay. Please see the NHS leaflet below for more information about protecting children against flu.

If your child is unwell with a diarrhoea and vomiting bug, please advise the school of their absence via the Studybug app. To prevent the spread of this bug we request that you keep your sick child at home for 48 hours from the last time they were unwell.

The NHS have information to help support parents who have family members with the seasonal  diarrhoea and vomiting bug.
