School Values – Ambition, Bravery and a spotlight on Compassion

As we move deeper into the final, busy weeks of this half-term, it's good for us all to take a moment and remember that everyone finds parts of this time of year tricky—whether it’s us adults or our children.
As we move deeper into the final, busy weeks of this half-term, it's good for us all to take a moment and remember that everyone finds parts of this time of year tricky – whether it's us adults or our children.
We all may have a 'wobble' from time to time. When that happens, let's take a moment to pause, reflect, and ask ourselves, "What can I do to help?"
You may need to ask yourself what you need, or ask how you can best support someone else.
As one of our school values, compassion is one of the cornerstones of our Stoughton and Northmead community – a value we instil with enthusiasm. When that compassion is mixed with time and understanding, we creat moments and situations in which every member of our school community can thrive.
So, as we move closer to Christmas, please encourage yourself and those around you to consider what is needed to feel and be the best you can be.
