Published 22/11/24Winter Production 2024 “Robin Hood and the Sherwood Hoodies” – School Hall Monday 9th – Thursday 12th December 2024 at 6:30pm
All children have a part in the production - Year 6 are the main cast and the remainder of the students each feature in their class dances/scenes throughout the show.
If you would like to come and watch, you can purchase tickets on ParentMail from Monday at 4pm. Cast A will perform on Monday and Tuesday and Cast B on Wednesday and Thursday - YR 6 Main Cast will perform on all 4 nights. (Your child knows which cast they are in)
Please note the maximum number of tickets you can purchase is 2 per family--these can be on the same evening or one for 2 separate evenings. Children under 5 are, unfortunately, not permitted to attend.

Published 20/11/24At Northmead we understand the importance of children engaging with the natural world. In a world increasingly dominated by technology, time spent outdoors cultivates resilience, social skills, and a sense of wonder, and there is a lot of research which cites the benefits of the natural world for children’s mental health. Initially, we pushed the outdoor teaching agenda in the lower school at Northmead, led by Mr Lewis. To support this learning, there are so many beautiful books published about nature which open up a world of wonder, igniting children’s curiosity. There are some incredible non-fiction books produced for children which combine interesting text with the most beautiful illustrations. Children can explore these over and over again.
