Year Five Trip to Winchester

Full CalendarSchool Calendar

This event will take place on 16/11/2018

On Friday 16th November, Year 5 will be visiting Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium as part of the science topics studied this term: Earth in Space and Forces. Each class will visit the planetarium, attend a science show about forces and enjoy a look around the exhibition. We will need to leave by 9.00am. Please ensure that your child is in school promptly for 8.50am register. Children need to wear school uniform. Depending on the weather, they will also need a rainproof coat. They will also need to bring a packed lunch. We aim to return by 3.15pm, depending on traffic.

The cost of the trip will be £16.00. We would like to remind parents that although the payment for this trip is a voluntary contribution, if the costs are not covered then the trip may have to be cancelled.

Payments should be made online via Parentmail. By paying online, you are also giving permission for your child to attend and therefore you do not need to return the slip. Please pay by Friday 9th November.

Any parent who would like to volunteer as a helper on the trip, should contact me via the school office. All volunteers need to be CRB checked.
