Year Three Trip to Butser Ancient Farm

To enrich our learning in history, we will be visiting Butser Ancient Farm on Wednesday 5th June. This is a working farm which operates as it would have done in the Iron Age. During the day, the children will not only have the chance to see what farms and buildings would have looked like, but will also have the opportunity to take part in a variety of practical history-based activities.

The trip will take place during school hours and will cost £19.50, which covers entry costs, workshop fees and coach travel.

Each child will need a packed lunch with a drink (no cans or glass bottles please) which should be brought in a rucksack. If your child is entitled to free school meals, please tick the relevant section on the reply slip below if you would like the school to provide your child with a packed lunch.

We request that payments be made by Friday 24th May. We would like to remind parents that although the payment is a voluntary contribution, if the costs for the trip are not covered, then the trip may have to be cancelled.

We would prefer payment to be made online using Parentmail. This also allows you to give permission online and there is no need for you to return the form.

However, if you wish to send cash or a cheque or your child is eligible for Pupil Premium, then please complete and return the slip below.

Thank you for your support.
