Mental Health and Wellbeing

Northmead has an established culture that promotes and enhances the positive mental health of the whole school community, recognising that healthy relationships underpin positive mental health and have a significant impact on learning, health and wellbeing. 
 

The Policy Aims to:

  • Promote positive mental health and well-being for children, parents/carers and staff
  • Provide support to children or adults suffering with their mental health
  • Provide support to staff working with young people with mental health issues
  • Increase understanding and awareness of common mental health issues
