Year Four visit Shere

Year Four enjoy their school trip to Shere.

On Wednesday 15th June Year Four went to Shere and it was lots of fun.  We did lots of activities including going in the river.  We also went in St James’s church.  We learnt a lot about the church and the things inside the church like the alter and the kneelers.  Then we put dog biscuits in the river to see how fast the river flows. And the way we knew how  long it  took  was by  timing it with stop watches. After that we were measuring how deep and how shallow the river was. The deepest it was  was 23cm.  When we were going back to school it started to rain so we had to rush back so we did not get soaked. It was great fun! - by Malachi K 4P
