Geography Week

We have enjoyed a really exciting and informative week in school celebrating the World Cup in our Geography week.

Geography Week 7th - 11th June 2010

We have enjoyed a really exciting and informative week in school. Each day started with children checking in at the hall or studio for their flight to a different country. As you can imagine this caused great excitement! During the week they have learnt many new facts about the countries which will be playing in the world cup, watched dance and music shows, and enjoyed taking part in cooking and dance lessons.
Thank you to Mrs Furnell for her hard work organising the events for Geography week and making sure everything ran smoothly.
Thanks to the catering staff for their contribution. We have enjoyed a themed meal from a different country each day. Today fish and chips was on the menu for England!
Thanks to the PA for running the world cup mini fayre and raising money which allowed us to enjoy celebrating the start of the world cup tournament.
