Year 6 Trip to Houses of Parliament.

Full CalendarSchool Calendar

This event will take place between 7:20am and 4:00am on 27/03/2018

In preparation for our topic work after Easter, we have the exciting opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday 27th March.  During the trip, we will take a tour around the House of Commons and House of Lords and will participate in a workshop about how laws are made. The tour begins at 9:30 and we need to leave by 7:30 to ensure we do not miss it. Please bring your child to school for 7:20 (we know it is early but it will be worth it!). We are aiming to leave London at 2:00pm, so hope to be back at school at 3:30pm.

The children should wear school uniform and bring a packed lunch.

The cost of the trip will be £11.50. We would like to remind parents that although the payment for this trip to the Houses of Parliament is a voluntary contribution, if the costs for the trip are not covered then it may have to be cancelled. Please make your payment by Thursday 22nd March. Payment can be made by Parentmail or, if that is not possible, by cheque or cash. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Northmead Junior School’. Please write your child’s name and class on the back of your cheque. If you pay by Parentmail, you do not need to return the slip below as an electronic record is created.
